On Thursday, April 19, the Dean presented the Faculty Awards 2011-2012 for the College of Engineering. The following awards were given to the faculty in the department of Aerospace Engineering:
- Rodney Bowersox - Halliburton Foundation Professorship
- John Valasek - Herbert H. Richardson Faculty Fellow
- Tom Strganac - Association of Former Students College-level Distinguished Teaching Award
- Diego Donzis - TEES Select Young Faculty Award
The 2011-2012 Dwight Look College of Engineering Endowed Appointments were also announced, with William S. Saric named to the George J. Eppright '26 Chair.
