Four graduate students in the Dwight Look College of Engineering have been recognized by the Texas A&M University Association of Former Students for receiving the 2011 Association of Former Students Distinguished Graduate Student Award for Excellence in Doctoral Research were Nicholas Denissen, aerospace engineering; Young Myoung Ko, industrial and systems engineering; and Yu-Chin Li, materials science and engineering.
Denissen is a Ph.D. candidate under the direction of Dr. Edward White in the Department of Aerospace Engineering. He is conducting research in fluid mechanics on boundary layer stability and the transition to turbulence.
