19 years of direct experience in design and project engineering of turbine engine test facilities and equipment. Served in all Engineering capacities at Atec, Inc., including 9 years of Executive Management level responsibility as both VP of Engineering and VP of Program Development and Contracts. Responsible for complete system/project oversight. Specializing in Systems Level integration design, planning, technical conceptualization and problem resolution. Proposal Development, Liaison Engineering between customer and Atec engineering department.
He has served on the Aerospace Engineering Advisory Board to Texas A&M for the past 8 years, and is a member of the SAE EG-1 Propulsion Committee as well as the EG-1E Sub-committee on Gas Turbine Test Facilities and Equipment. Working in the Aerospace Engine Test arena for over 19 years, he served as the Project Engineer on the development of Atec\’s first-ever vectored thrust test facility modification effort for the YF119 engine in support of the YF22/23 fly-off competition. He has continued to have technical program oversight for the production test equipment for the F119 engine test system for the F-22 Raptor as well as the YF135 engine in test support of the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter. He was instrumental in the design and development of the new Ground-based engine thrust frame, which is being implemented in the F135 engine test program in support of both USAF and USN test initiatives.
